4171 KND 932 must have been allocated to Hyde Road Garage to have worked this part route from Thornley Park to Manchester Exchange. When the 41xx series of the Daimler CVG6s were delivered new in the 1950s, the entire fleet of ninety vehicles were based at Princess Road. 4171 is seen here at the northern end of Piccadilly Bus Station at the junction of Mosley Street.Previous | NextPrincess Road garage supplied three of its vehicles for the 80 route as did Queens Road garage. 4175 KND 936 from the former is seen here in Middleton as it begins the journey to Chorlton (Hardy Lane) via Moston, Piccadilly and Alexandra Park.
