Manchester City Transport 4632 (4632 VM) like its Salford counterpart behind it is a Daimler CVG6 with a Metro-Cammell H37/28R body. This vehicle had entered service in 1963 and is air brake operated with a Gardner 6LW engine and preselector gearbox. It is seen here on Princess Street in Central Manchester taking part in the Lord Mayor's parade procession on the 20th June 1981.Previous | NextManchester Corporation Leyland Atlantean No 1140 NNB 545H with an East Lancs H47/32F body is seen here descending Crescent Road in Crumpsall working the No 7 route from Mandley Park to Brookdale Park. This was one of twelve single-door Atlanteans in a fleet of 24 vehicles based at Queens Road garage. The other twelve vehicles in this batch were fitted with dual doors and were split evenly between Birchfields Road and Northenden garage in the south of the city.
