Photos in this collection are of vehicles that were part of the West Midlands PTE fleet when it came into being from 1969. Vehicles included are those from Birmingham City Transport, West Bromwich, Midland Red and Walsall Corporation as well as those that were delivered new to the West Midlands PTE.

The two Midland Red vehicles in the scene here are 5545 (6545 HA) on the left which is a BMMO S16 with a B52F BMMO body whereas the vehicle on the right is 5399 BHA 399C which is a BMMO D9 with an H40/32RD BMMO body seen here at Wythall Transport Museum awaiting their next turn of duty.  11th October 2009.

A front and offside view of Cheltenham & District No 6037 (802 MHW) which is a Bristol FSF6G Lodekka with an H34/26F ECW body. Although fitted with a 6LW Gardner 8.4 litre engine, it has a crash gearbox rather than a pre-selector which are normally fitted in a 6LW Gardner engine.  The vehicle is seen here at Wythall Transport Museum.  11th October 2009.
