Salford Corporation Leyland Atlantean No 214 DBA 214C with a Metro-Cammell H43/33F body was new to this operator in 1965. When the vehicle was taken over by Selnec PTE and given a subsequent repaint into orange and white, it was transferred to Queens Road garage in the autumn of 1972 where it remained until withdrawal in the spring of 1978 after thirteen years in revenue-earning service.
